Thanks to our generous donors, the Hampton Roads Community Foundation is the largest scholarship provider in Hampton Roads. Since 1951 donors who have created more than 70 permanent scholarship funds. Each has unique criteria set by the donors.
This year 358 students are attending college this year with help from $1,011,101 in Foundation scholarships -- the most awarded in a single year.
Applications for most of the 2014-15 academic year were due February 28, 2014.
- Other Scholarships -- Includes several specialized scholarships we administer. Some are for undergraduate study and others for graduate study. Be sure to check to see if you fit the unique criteria set by scholarship donors.
How Can You Start Your Own Scholarship Fund?

- We welcome gifts of all sizes to any existing fund or the Community Fund for Scholarships. You can donate online, send a check or arrange for a future gift through your will or other estate plans.
- With a gift of $25,000 or more you can create your own permanent named scholarship fund.
