Jane Elyce Glasgow Ph.D.

Executive Director of the Minus 9 to 5 Initiative

Jane Elyce Glasgow, Ph.D., is executive director of Minus 9 to 5, the early care and education and initiative incubated at the Hampton Roads Community Foundation. Before joining the staff in 2016, she was an early childhood professional development consultant. She previously directed the Children’s Learning and Research Center at Old Dominion University and was program manager for the Child Development lab and an adjunct instructor for early childhood development at Tidewater Community College. She earned an undergraduate degree in elementary and special education from Longwood University, a masters and doctoral degree in education from Old Dominion University with a concentration in early childhood.
